Well, we finally had our first successful solo family outing on our boat! We went out on Saturday morning, July 19 with sunny skies and calm water. We didn't have any problems getting the boat in the water, starting the engines, or getting the boat back on the trailer. The kids are really beginning to enjoy being out on the water more and more. Caleb was clinging to my arm at the beginning, but by the end he was moving around the boat from seat to seat. Isabelle sat in my lap the whole time, but she eventually stopped burying her head in my chest and enjoyed some of the view. We brought our lunch with us and took a break to eat and swim. It was great to play in the clear water and see an occasional fish or hermit crab go by. We had a wonderful morning and even got back with plenty of time to get Isabelle down for her afternoon nap.

We had so much fun with y'all a few weeks ago. It is hard to believe that it has already been almost a month! We feel blessed by our friendship and are thankful to have had some time to catch up. By the way, I'm glad you finally got to utilize your boat. It looked like a lot of fun.
